Traineeship:

  • The Centre has appointed two Project Trainees for a period of 12 months during 2002-2003 to develop a database of Phytophthora, the key fungal pathogen of horticultural crops.
  • The Centre has appointed two Project Trainees for a period of 6 months during 2003-2004 to develop PiperBase - a database of Piper species of India.
  • The Centre has appointed two Project Trainees for a period of 6 months during 2008-2009 to develop Spice Germplasm Database.
  • The Centre has appointed two Project Trainees for a period of 6 months during 2009-2010 for Redesigning PLASBID database & Updating the PASSCOM database - turmeric, ginger and cardamom compounds.
  • The Centre has appointed two Project Trainees for a period of 6 months during 2010-2011.
  • The Centre has appointed two Project Trainees for a period of 6 months during 2011-2012 for Developing Plant Virus Database & Phytophthora Genome database.
  • The Centre has appointed two Project Trainees for a period of 6 months during 2012-2013 for Genome mining of spice associated entophytic bacteria for natural products.
